The final secret of the vision board revealed
It was two months short of a year since I last made an intuitive vision board. With most of its content now accounted for and shared with you in previous newsletters, I was itching to make another one.
But first I must tell you about the gorgeous golden spaniel – the last image to remain a mystery on my current board. He sat there looking at me, inviting me to engage with him playfully (he ‘felt’ male) but I couldn’t for the life of me imagine how I might do that. We love dogs but we live in a ‘no pets’ zone while our irregular lifestyle also prohibits it.
What could the presence of a dog mean?
Then, out of the blue (note he’s wearing a blue jacket), I took a call recently from a Dog Charity in Cornwall called Dog World where every little wag helps.
Aside from their blue logo, they have a 3 acre site containing Grade 2 listed buildings and plenty of open spaces, they needed some help with. Could I advise them how to make best use of the site both in practical terms and from a Feng Shui perspective?
Feng Shui decides
The purpose of the Feng Shui consultation was to increase footfall, raise awareness of the facility and attract a suitable celebrity patron to support their charity.
This site is all about dogs – dogs of all ages, dog owners and all those people you love and support dogs. It offers recycled dog equipment and accessories, socializing opportunities for both puppies and people, dog training, veterinary services, dog shows, a large charity shop for fund raising, the potential for an indoor market with 20 stalls, and a food and drinks cart.
It was a delight to tax my Feng Shui knowledge in this more unusual way and we now wait to see what transpires over the next few months once they have implemented my recommendations.
I highly recommend Mary’s services and value her thoughtful comments and advice. Some points raised in Mary’s report on the finer points of how the general public may feel about their visit to our venue I’d already considered. Hearing it from someone not connected to our day to day operations really brought those points home and highlighted them, motivating us to make improvements. Other points mentioned gave us new ideas and vision that I agreed with and appreciated.

On a personal level, I found Mary to be a very pleasant professional person to work with, who is intelligent, perceptive, and a very good listener.
What is the significance of ‘104’?
Only recently I also spotted the number ‘104’ in the corner of the spaniel image.
It’s intriguing because the timeframe spanned by this vision board includes my decision to write two books – one on Feng Shui and one on memoir. Both have transported me back in time to the home in which I spent the first 18 years of my life – with the house number ‘104’. Of all the numbers to appear on my board, it had to be this one.

Excitement and nervousness were both with me as I prepared to make my latest intuitive vision board, 19 vision boards later. You may remember the same heart-stopping anticipation when creating yours and the gremlin that sits on your shoulder saying ‘what are you choosing that for?’ that must be watched.
Meanwhile you’re left in suspense as to what the oracle board might reveal that you don’t know already, and accepting that you’ll have to wait a while longer for the mists to clear to discover the bounty that lies below the surface of your conscious awareness.

First impressions of my new intuitive vision board?
The vibrancy of my board stirs and enlivens me.I
It speaks to me of golden sunshine and the Autumn, perhaps as I enter the Autumnal stage of my life.
The images chosen randomly offer an energy blueprint and a bespoke, non-literal road map for me to follow.
I believe that freedom lies not by doing what I want or believe I should do be doing but by allowing whatever Life wants to be lived through me to make itself known so that I can get on and do it.
