Make space for new beginnings with Feng Shui.

Making space for new beginnings with Feng Shui

The day or so preceding a new moon is the moment to take stock of where you are and make space for what’s coming next, setting your intentions as boldly as you like.

This is the time to become super-aware of your thoughts and feelings and to switch them over so that something positive and constructive can come from any negative energy. This is the time for meaningful, respectful emotional exchanges, even if it’s not easy to do and feels uncomfortable.  Bring it to the surface to be released.

What are you prepared to STOP doing now to make room for what you want to START doing more of.  Release with awareness on the mental/emotional levels while being in action too on the physical plane. Then set your intentions clearly.   This mystical moon is the time to

  • declutter with passion and verve

  • release negative thoughts and feelings

  • set new positive intentions

  • live the change you want to see

Decluttering and organising your environment, your thoughts and your feelings are the fundamental building blocks of good Feng Shui and why I promote them.  They lay the foundations for the new otherwise it’s like to trying to give birth on an an obstacle course.  Here’s a little poem to remind you how to do it.

If you take it out, put it back.
If you open it, close it.
If you throw it down, pick it up.
If you take it off, hang it up.
If you break it, fix it.
If it’s irreparable, recycle it.
If you love it, keep it.
If in doubt, toss it out.
If it grins, take it in.

Let go and let in, New Moonbeams.
