Not in a good head space for vision boarding
Walter was not in a good head space for vision boarding when he arrived for the workshop, although he didn’t admit this at the time. Yet in his honest sharing, he describes how he circumvented the negative thoughts swirling around in his head to create a meaningful vision board, in spite of himself.
It only goes to show that you don’t have to be in the perfect frame of mind to explore your future when your intuition is guiding you. Because your intuition will take you where you need to go in spite of your misgivings. Walter reports.
Intuitive Vision board – workshop
“I’ve recently attended an intuitive vision board workshop with Mary in Staffordshire. On previous occasions it’s always been a very positive experience. This time I didn’t enjoy the process. It was mainly because of where I was in my thinking – mostly negative – about myself and my future. Thoughts like “what’s the point? etc.
“Having made an Intuitive Board before, I felt I knew enough about the process to know that, whether I enjoyed it or not. Whether I liked the pictures or not, was not the point. Basically I knew that each picture I’d chosen would have a significance, which I wasn’t able to see or understand logically at the time. And so I pressed on and completed my vision board and worked through the mood I was in.
“Thankfully I had had the good insight to book an online session with Mary after the workshop. In this she painstakingly went through my Board with me to gain new and higher perspectives, helping me to see things more positively. She spoke of the richness of the images, which came across to her with vibrancy and energy in spite of the negativity coming from my logical left brain.

“We discovered that the Fire element was a repeating motif along with the heat associated with the images I’d chosen. She pointed out the abundance of people and animals I’d included. This caused her to enquire whether I might be feeling a tad lonely and in need of more ‘heart energy’ around me. The 6 images she spotted associated with the Water element, suggested I might want to move closer to water – or at least take a holiday by the sea. All of these insights rang lots of bells for me and I started to see the vision board – and myself – in a different way.
“Mary’s coaching insights were very constructive in helping me to find a more positive viewpoint. From this perspective we compiled some specific actions I could take to move myself – and my business – forward.
