Vision board left versus vision board right
The Intuitive Vision Board is created by right-brain. It is not interested in your wants and desires. It’s only interested in what you need to feed your soul. The ‘other’ old-fashioned vision board, made by the left-brain, is tame in comparison to the Intuitive Vision Board.
The average vision board is limited in scope to images chosen by their creator to fulfil predetermined definitions of what success, happiness and achievement look like. But this is only from the finite frame of reference point of the maker’s logical left brain.
This type of concept board originated in the world of design, where it served to capture ideas, moods and concepts together in one place. From the outset the designer is working to a brief and controlling the search filters to meet it. This is creative planning not visioning.
